You can trade with MT5 and cTrader

FxPro will offer the opportunity to trade with the most advanced software available today, such as MT5 or cTrader.

MT5 combines a highly customisable interface with a number of new features covering the needs of both technical and fundamental traders; a wide range of chart time-frames, indicators, graphical objects an a integrated development environment for EA-s.

cTrader is a highly customisable platform that accommodate the needs of any trader. Server trailing stop, Cloud service to keep all accounts and templates in one place, one-click-trading and advanced chart trading or FIX API can elevate you trading experience.

MT4 is also available. MT4 combines a basic interface suitable for beginners with advanced features demanded by the seasoned pros. It offers straight through processing, no dealing desk intervention and no re-quotes. MetaTrader 4 was widely recognized between 2007 and 2010. This time a lot of brokers started to use it as an alternative to their proprietary software. It is seen as the preferable choice even when compared to its successor – MetaTrader 5.

Client Support

With a triple AAA support rating from BrokerNotes, FXPro’s client support offers a wide range of languages including Arabic, Chinese, English, French, German, Turkish, Czech, Indonesian, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Polish, Russian, Spanish, etc. It is a 24-hour Monday-through-Friday (24/5) service, including live chat  for both clients and prospective clients.

Mobile Experience

FxPro has a good mobile offering with the app available in both iOS and Android. Security features are standard. Mobile price alerts are available. Unlike other brokers, FxPro offers streaming mobile news with major news headlines that can impact markets. This allows traders to follow market developments on the go in real-time.

Disadvantages

Education Platform

The educational section is divided into Basics, Fundamental Analysis, Technical Analysis, Psychology, Trading tests, video tutorials and Webinars & Events. We can say that the FxPro’s education section is below the industry average. There seems to be an absence of information about basic concepts of forex or CFD trading. Some of the educational videos are quite old. Providing a glossary of CFD terms is a plus.

Fees & Commissions

FxPro has no commissions on most trades. It generates its revenues from a combination of spreads and commissions. Spreads on the EUR/USD start from 1.5 pips in the MT4 Trading Platform and 0.2 pips in the cTrader platform where commissions apply. FxPro does not seem to offer any discounts for higher volume traders. We can say that the commission for this broker is on the high side of the spectrum.

Opening your account

When you open an account, you’ll be asked for your passport, driving license or national ID, a utility bill or bank statement from the past three months showing your address and you’ll also need to answer a few basic compliance questions to confirm how much trading experience you have, a process that will take you at least 10 minutes to complete it. It’s important to note that you won’t be able to make any trades until you pass compliance, which can take up to several days.

Conclusions

A trusted broker, regulated by the Financial Control Authority FCA in the UK. Their range of forex pairs and the ability to trade equity indices, cryptocurrencies, commodities, and futures set them above competitors. Education section doesn’t have much to offer and their commissions are for sure on the high side of the spectrum.
